An antenna is mounted on the roof.
After going almost a month without one, a new spy video has been released of the BMW 2 testing on public roads around Nurburgring. This one is different from other examples. It has a large antenna on its roof and a passenger sitting in the seat with a laptop.
This one, aside from the protruding roof, has some black tape around mesh on the passenger side. This does not appear to be a structural modification, but rather a fix for temporary bodywork damage.
A panel is used to cover the grille, making it appear that it sticks out further from the body. We have seen other cars with exposed nose which gives us a better idea about the design.
You can see a spoiler on the decklid at the back. Two pairs of circular exhaust outlets are located in cutouts under the bumper.
The interior of the M2 features a modern layout with a digital instrument cluster, infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. There will be carbon-fiber trim and bolstered seats.
All indications point to the BMW S58 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-six engine. rumors put the output at 450 horsepower (336 Kilowatts), and just over 400 pound-feet (542 Newton meters). Other speculation suggests that the numbers could even be higher.
To purchase the M2, you will need to be patient. Although production won’t begin until late 2022 the premier of the design specs and specifications would occur sooner than that. It is not uncommon for BMW to launch a product in Europe before it is sold in the USA. This information should allow Americans to obtain an M2 by the middle of 2023.
