The wait is over. We now have the complete details and high-res photos of Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept (6th Element Concept) after 6 teaser images.

The demonstration vehicle is lighter than the Gallardo Superleggera’s 1,340 kg (2,202 lbs) due to advanced carbon fiber construction technology. The 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine with 570 PS (419 kW / 562 bhp) is also included in the mass. Permanent all-wheel drive reduces power-to-weight ratio to 1.75 kg per horsepower. It takes 2.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0-60 mph) and the top speed is well over 300 km/h (162 mph), which was previously reported at 350 km/h (217 mph). These are only the top highlights.

Lamborghini claims to be a global leader in carbon-fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) technology. The proof is provided by the radical extreme lightweight concept. Lamborghini claims that they are the only vehicle manufacturer to have successfully completed the entire CFRP process. This includes 3D design, simulation, validation, production, testing, and shipping. All this in an industrial process that is at the forefront of the latest technology. The result was “an incredible degree of driving enjoyment, focused on absolutely sensational dynamics.”

Carbon fiber structures include the monocoque cell, as well as the front frame structure, exterior panels, and crash boxes. Carbon fiber is also used in major suspension components as well as wheels and the drive shaft. Pyrosic, a glass-ceramic composite made from advanced glass-ceramic matrix, is also used in the tailpipes.
The Sixth Element Concept makes the triangle shape a dominant design theme. You can see its use in the diamond-cut headlamps, deep openings on the hood, door handles and side panel openings as well as the mirror stalks. The carbon fiber weave is highlighted throughout the clear coat, which has a matt-shimmer finish with red tinted crystals.

The interior is a highlight of the design. The interior is not suitable for traditional trim panels as the composite tub makes up the entire interior structure, including the dash panel, center console and seats. The seat cushions are attached directly to the seat structure molded into carbon fiber monocoque. All you can see in the interior is carbon fiber, from the roof to floor and doors.

Lamborghini does not hint at a future model, other than stating that this is the future of a supercar. They leave no room for speculation, however, acknowledging that this technology will be used in all future Lamborghinis.
