Lady racer buys first ever Koenigsegg One:1

Monaco: Spotted driving around.

With its new owner, Lady Racer Carina Lima at the wheel, the first ever Koenigsegg One-1 built chassis, #106 was spotted in Monaco.

Chassis #106 served as the factory test car and development vehicle, finalizing the specifications for the six production cars. It is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 1360 horsepower and a weight of 1360 kilograms (2998 lb). This makes it the first car to be produced with a one-to-1 power-to-weight ratio.

Officially, it is the fastest production car over the 0 to186 mile-per-hour sprint with a time of 11.9 seconds. This was achieved in chassis #106. It holds lap records at both the Spa and Suzuka race circuits for production cars. After the car was used in a crash with brake failure , an attempt to break the Nurburgring Nordschleife lap records has been delayed .

Factory prototypes are rarely released for sale. However, chassis #106 last year was sold to Super Vettura in the UK, which is the UK’s only Koenigsegg agent. Price: $6 million $6 million. Although it seems most likely that Carina Lima purchased it through Super Vettura, the listing is still available on their website.

Carina, a former model, races in the Cup class for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series along with Imperiale Racing. She also shares a car with Andrea Palma, a Pagani test driver.
