This supercar can travel more than 200 miles an hour.
Three years ago, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was introduced. This supercar received a track-focused overhaul. The car set a new Nurburgring record lap, thanks to active aero bits and an increase in power. A new video from AutoTopNL has the Aventador back in country. It’s not at Nurburgring this time, but at another iconic automotive mecca, the German Autobahn.
The Lamborghini is ready for a fast run. On the public roads, the supercar can reach speeds of 332 km/h (206 miles/h). It took the driver several times to reach the 300-kph mark (184 km/h) due to traffic. It eventually got to a remarkable speed. It looks intimidating with its new aero bits, large wing and functional functionality.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was the first Lamborghini vehicle to feature the most powerful V12 ever built. It has 770 horsepower (566kilowatts) as well as 531 pound-feet (701 Newton-meters). Lamborghini claims that the car can reach 100 kph (62.2 mph) within 2.8 seconds, and 200 km/h (124 mph), in 8.6 seconds. Although the SVJ was able to reach 332 kph (216 mph), it was still far from its maximum speed of 350 kph (218 mph).
The second-generation Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva system (ALA) – active aerodynamics – was part of the car’s performance improvements. It changes the shape of the car depending on driving conditions and includes a huge front splitter and trick wings. This allows the supercar to put power to the ground. The supercar’s exclusive delivery began in 2019, with each vehicle costing $517,700. It was only planned to make 963 supercars, so it is unlikely that you will ever see one.
