The 1955 Porsche Silver Bullett Hot Rod is based upon a 914-6 chassis. It has a mid-mounted RS-3.0-liter 911 engine producing 279 hp (208 kW).

The hot rod was built by Jeff Dutton in 1992. It is based on the 1955 356 Continental Coupe, but has a longer wheelbase. It features Weber carburetors, a 5-speed 915 gearbox, 17-inch disc wheels, 718 RSK-style side vents and driver’s side mirror. Transmission and engine access covers are also included. 934-sourced ventilated, drilled discs provide the stopping power.

It has green leather bucket seats, a wood-trimmed steering column, and VDO instrumentation. Some dials are borrowed from a 911. Plexiglas is used for the windscreen and side windows. This allows you to see the engine through the porthole.
