Let’s all hope that the production model is as unique as the concept.
According to the Hyundai Concept 45, there is a production version. These spy photos capture the development of the electric crossover in the snow. It’s difficult to see the future model because it’s hidden under heavy camouflage. Sales are expected to begin in 2021.
The Concept 45 is somewhat similar despite the fact that it is very well hidden. To make the car road-ready, the company must replace the bank of LEDs that were on the show car’s headlights with different ones.
The production version of Concept 45 does not have the same sharp-edged styling as the concept. The camouflage on this vehicle is so thick that it hides the lines. The crossover could have a unique look due to the pointy wheel design.
Although the powertrain remains a mystery to our spies, they believe the model has an electrical motor that powers each axle. This would give the crossover all-wheel drive. The battery’s capacity is not known.
Although spy photos do not show the inside of the vehicle, the concept is minimalistic. The driver had a digital display that integrates into the infotainment panel. The cabin was airy because there was no console or center stack.
It is difficult to predict which elements of the interior design might be transferred to the production version. Unfortunately, the furniture-like rotating chairs are not included in this list.
45 years ago, the Pony Coupe Concept was introduced. The Concept 45 also celebrated the future of the company. Hyundai stated at that time that it planned to produce a production version.
