Ford F-150 Venom with 775 Horsepower Debuts Hennessey

It is impossible to have too much.

There is no stopping the march of badass pickup truck. Hennessey has been a regular in this world of expensive, high-powered off-roaders. The newest offering even refers to the company’s Venom hypercar which previously reached 270 mph. When the test vehicle is ready for use, the Venom F5 could reach 300 mph. It’s not that the Hennessey-tweaked Ford F-150 will go anywhere near as fast, but its stats for a four-wheel-drive pickup are pretty amazing.

Hennessey refers to this truck as the Venom 775 Supercharged Pickup Truck. The upgrade kit is actually called the Venom 775 Supercharged Truck. However, the base vehicle is still the 2020 Ford F-150. The core of the upgrade involves adding a huge supercharger to F-150’s powerful 5.0-liter V8. Other engine upgrades and a Hennessey-specific calibrated calibration eventually raise power to 775 horsepower (578 Kilowatts), which according to the Texas tuning company, is enough to propel the F-150 up to 60 mph in just four seconds. You’ll be able to run a quarter-mile in 12.1 seconds if you keep the throttle on. This is a good time for a small performance vehicle, even if you have a truck with large 20-inch wheels.

The Venom package includes more than just a power bump. Hennessey also installs a six inch lift kit along with the wheel/tire combination. The beast is stopped by six-piston Brembo brakes in front. Five LED lights are installed in Hennessey’s front bumper to help you see the way.

Graphics and badges are included in the Venom 775 standard package. However, buyers who have more money can purchase a custom interior, rear bumper, ram air hood and electronic fold-down steps for driver and passenger to climb aboard. Hennessey installs everything. The goods come with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

What amount of coin are we talking? The basic Venom 775 package costs $53,300. The $69,600 upfit shown in these photos is possible by adding the optional items for $16,300. Remember, this is just the upgrade price. Add in the cost of a 2020 F-150, and it’s well into six figures.
