Peugeot has taken ownership of the Peugeot 308 SW, which will be displayed publicly at the Geneva Motor Show 2014 in March.
French marque claims its new 308SW has a “class leading” capacity. However, the Honda Civic Tourer boasts 624 liters (22 cubes feet) of cargo space, which is 14 liters more then the 308SW and the Skoda Octavia Combi. The car’s increased length of 4253mm to 4580mm has resulted in a 140-liter increase in the boot volume compared to the hatchback.
The five door hatchback will continue to use the same engine lineup, with the BlueHDi variant having CO2 emissions of just 85 grams/km. It rides on the same EMP2 architecture, and it is 140 kg (308 lbs lighter) than its predecessor.
The 2014 Peugeot 308SW will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in February and will reach European dealers this spring.
