Representatives from the dealer had the opportunity to view Ford’s smaller off-roader as well as the electric, Mustang inspired crossover. According to reports, the automaker will continue to develop a compact pickup truck on a unibody chassis. This platform is shared with the latest Ford Focus.

The unibody pickup and the new Bronco (the smaller, so-called Baby Bronco) share a rugged styling aesthetic. This should make them stand out from other crossovers on the market. According to Automotive News, dealers were extremely happy with what they saw.

Ford’s current product strategy is to launch the Baby Bronco in 2020, and then for the standard Bronco a few months later. The tiny pickup will be the last to hit the market, and it will go on sale in 2021.
