With its black and silver color scheme, the John Cooper Works Hardtop Knights Edition looks great.
Mini confirms that Mini is the next generation in the range-topping John Cooper Works GP The brand will be launching the hot hatch in 2020 but it is not part of their display at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show , unfortunately. The firm instead has a variety of accessories and special editions to show small car enthusiasts.
John Cooper Works Knights Edition (gallery atop) is probably the most fascinating of all this group of machines. The JCW Hardtop is the base, while Mini’s team transforms the vehicle in a Midnight Black/Melting Silver color scheme. The exterior is accented with red at the sides, grille and brake calipers. This special model includes a John Cooper Works exhaust system with flap system and chrome tips at its back. The Knights Edition will be available at American dealers starting in the first quarter 2019.
A new International Orange Edition is available for the JCW Hardtop. It’s currently on sale. The body is a bright orange shade with a Midnight Black metallic spoiler and roof. Black pieces are used on the exterior for the fuel filler cap, side stripes, door handles and carbon fiber mirror caps. Ferric Gray 18-inch double-spoke wheels are used for the models. John Cooper Works Pro Exhaust has Bluetooth-controlled flaps, and chrome tailpipe trim.
Mini will also bring the Countryman Cooper S Yin Yang Edition into the U.S. They’ll be available for purchase in December. You can choose from a Midnight Black or Light White frame, while the roof and body stripes are covered in the shade of your choice. The vehicles come with piano black trim for grille, headlights and handles, regardless of color. All-weather floor mats are available inside.
The ClubmanS has a new Starlight Edition and is already available for purchase. The wagons have a Starlight Blue Metallic body and Melting Silver covering the roof, mirror caps and center caps. It is equipped with silver 17-inch wheels. It features a luggage trolley and cargo mat as well as a Click and Drive smartphone holder.
The brand will also display its Mini Yours Customized collection of aftermarket parts. Owners can personalize their pieces online. To create custom parts, the firm uses laser lettering and 3D printing.
