Russian horse prefers a cocktail that is shaken and not stirred.
Our favorite team of crazy fabricators discovered a photo showing a person filling up a truck with multiple fuel nozzles simultaneously. It had to be true. Garage 54 decided to test it on a Lada with a small gasoline-powered engine. The big question is: Will a car run if it has multiple types of fuel?
The team went to a gas station to fill up the Lada with all the necessary fuel. The fuel mix for the Lada included four different gasoline grades as well as a bit of diesel. Each fuel grade was individually pumped into the engine to a total of 25 Liters (6.5 Gallons).
The four gasoline grades are unlikely to cause any problems, except for spark knock (AKA detonation), due to the low octane. However, gasoline engines do not like diesel, and spark plugs don’t like diesel. It tends to literally and metaphorically gum up the works and is heavier than gasoline, so it should settle in your tank. There is an approximate ratio of gas to diesel of five to 1. Does it suffice to dilute diesel?
Everything will be fine in the best case scenario. That’s not the only downside. Poor car will cough and choke until it dies. Do you want to predict the outcome of this clip before you watch it?
