It’s either your favorite or your worst enemy.

The Juke was not rushed by Nissan. This first generation of the small crossover was available for almost a decade. This is rare in today’s highly competitive market where life expectancies are getting shorter. The company has sold nearly 1 million units in Europe alone, and it has been a huge commercial success. It was removed from the United States in order to make way for the Kicks. However, we know that some people would love to see the second generation of the product in North America.

Do not expect a high-performance Juke Nismo. Jerome Grigny is the regional product manager for Nissan Europe. He told it’s unlikely to happen. Nissan would have to make a strong engine to comply with stricter emission regulations on the Old Continent. An electrified powertrain would be one solution, but Nissan doesn’t plan to make a hybrid Juke Nismo at the moment.

The new Juke is larger and lighter than its predecessor, but it’s still a very attractive vehicle. The updated appearance gives the crossover a more refined look while still maintaining that love/hate feel. The striking Fuji Sunset color is new to the range. It makes the vehicle’s styling pop more.

The N-Design package offers many ways to make your Juke stand out. You can choose from a variety of two-tone colors and combine them with custom bumpers or side sills. The interior cabin is now more spacious thanks to its larger footprint. You can personalize it by choosing from one of the Alcantara or leather upholstery options.

Nissan speaks highly of the interior. The dashboard and door cards are soft-touch, while the front seats have Bose speakers integrated into the headrests. This gives the cabin a more luxurious feel.

The second-gen Juke will be delivered to customers in Europe by the end of November. The funky crossover, like its predecessor, will be manufactured in the U.K at the Sunderland plant. A new Juke is made every 105 seconds.
