There are many options available, including Executive Packages and M Drivers.
According to BMW blog, the 2019 BMW M2 Competition will be priced at $58,900.
BMW has also confirmed some pricing options for its latest high-performance model. Metallic paint will cost $550, a moonroof $1,050, and the seven speed dual-clutch transmission $2,900. An M Drivers Package will be available for $2,500. This will increase the speed limiter from the stock 155 mph (249 km/h) to 174 mph (280 kilometers/hour). It will also include a one-day driving class at the BMW Performance Center. A $850 Executive Package includes a heated steering wheel and adaptive LED headlights. It also includes wireless charging for your devices, speed limit monitor, and wireless device charging.
The M2 Competition is $58,900 more expensive than the regular M2, but it may be worth the extra performance. The new model receives the 3.0-liter biturbo-inline-six engine. It produces 406 horsepower (302 kilowatts), 406 poundfeet (551 Newton meters) of torque in this application. This is an increase of 40 hp (302 kW), and 63 lb (85 Nm) respectively over the previous M2. The standard gearbox is a six-speed manual, and all models get a electronically-controlled limited-slip differential.
Europeans will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of M Performance parts in November – many of these will reduce weight on the M2. A carbon fiber roof, trunk lid, and hood will all help to shed 44 pounds (20 kg) together. A set of 19-inch forged wheel will weigh 7 pounds (3.2 kilograms). The weight of a titanium wheel will drop to 18 pounds (8kg). Buyers can also get upgraded brakes and a 0.8 inch (20-millimeters) lower suspension. Customers in the U.S. may not be able to get these parts, if any.
