VW T-Cross renders the Cutest Polo Crossover

VW will finally be able to compete in Europe’s highly competitive subcompact crossover market with the new arrival.

Volkswagen launched the teaser campaign earlier this week for its new crossover, which will be positioned under the stylish TRoc. To get a better idea of what Wolfsburg’s version of the SEAT Arona will look like, we have turned those design sketches into a speculative rendering.

With the debut of the Touareg, VW refreshed its crossover design language. We expect the subcompact model will take a few cues from the larger and more luxurious model. Although there will be some similarities in the front, such as how the grille meets the headlights of the Touareg, it won’t look nearly as striking as the Touareg. We think the T-Cross’ back will look better thanks to the Cayenne-esque LED light strip that VW revealed in its teasers.

The interior will not feature the Touareg’s huge 15-inch touchscreen. Instead, VW’s tiny crossover is expected to source the majority of the cabin parts and components from the Polo. The new T-Cross is a largely based supermini. However, it will have a small exterior and a large interior. VW’s little crossover will source most of the cabin bits from the a href=”https://www.motor1.com/volkswagen/polo/”>Polo.

T-Cross’ official debut will take place in the fall. It will be VW Europe’s fifth crossover. A smaller T-Track version is being considered as a follow up to the Taigun concept. However, it is unlikely that it will be available in the near future. We are not certain if it will be made available in Europe.
