Yes, there are.
Hyundai introduced the Palisade N, which is a performance version of its large SUV. It teased the world just over a week back. Hyundai posted images of the high-riding, hopped-up model on April Fools Day. This scuttled any hope that such a model would ever be produced. It seems that Hyundai is the one making the joke. A Chagne.org petition has been started calling on Hyundai to produce the Palisade N. It has gathered nearly 80 percent of the signatures requested – 158 of 200 at the time this writing.
The petition asks people to support the Hyundai Palisade NG in a world where all cars are the same: grey black white silver and, maybe, if your lucky, red. The petition acknowledges the positive response the model received not only from consumers, but also from the media. The petition ends with a call for action: “Change begins with you!”Although the Hyundai Palisade is a mere tease, it looks like a high-performance SUV. The Performance Blue paint is stunning when combined with the darkened cladding at the bottom and the red accents. Although it appears that the Palisade is higher than the wheels, this could just be due to the wheel arch cladding. A triangular high mount brake light is located at the rear. The look is completed by a small N badge at the liftgate and a quad exhaust.
The Palisade N concept will continue to exist for now, regardless of any petition. It’s almost like Toyota fans petitioned Japanese automaker to bring Yaris GR into America. However, the Yaris GR can be produced. But, such a vehicle could come soon. Hyundai stated late last year that the high-performance N brand plans to launch SUVs. What is Hyundai’s plan?
