This Original Clutch Still Works for Acura Legends at 572,750 Miles

This is a testament to Honda’s engineering skills in the 80s/90

We love high-mileage cars. We are still captivated by the story of a 432,000 mile Skoda Octavia and many other high mileage heroes. We have today a more inspiring story about a car that has covered exactly 572750 miles (921 751 kilometers) and still looks brand-new. Well, almost.

It is a 1994 Acura Legend LS Coupe is a car that belongs to Tyson Hugie .He celebrates the 17th anniversary in his ownership by sharing some of his adventures, as well as the people and places he has visited with the car. It’s an amazing story.

We are, however, most interested in the car. Hugie purchased it in Las Vegas in 2003 with approximately 95,000 miles and 152,887 kilometers. Hugie drove it daily for nine years, including two seasons in Northern Utah. The body appears to be in good condition from what we can see in the video. There are some stones chips at the front.

The car has had its paint partially resprayed several times. There are also paint mismatches between certain body panels. The interior of the car is all original, with a few minor upgrades like two-tone leather seats, and door sills featuring Acura lettering. There is an aftermarket system for audio, but it will soon be removed and replaced by the factory Bose unit.

The best part is almost forgotten – the car still runs with the stock clutch. This is truly amazing. The engine bay is clean and smooth, with only a few marks from an accident in 2007.
