Chevy Dealer Allows Customer to Specify Corvette C8

A Corvette 3LT with Z51 Performance Package for nearly 100 grand

What would you do if you were a car salesman given the freedom to build a vehicle to sell to a customer?
This is the freedom Chevy Dude, who works at Bachman Chevrolet in Louisville Kentucky, got from a customer who ordered a 2020 ChevyCorvette. The Vette-addict Youtuber also got the go-signal for the car to be featured in a video and posted it on his YouTube channel. He went through every aspect of the build and gave us an overview of how much money was spent on each option.
The base price for the Shadow Gray Metallic Corvette C8 is $58,900, plus $11,950 for the 3LT upgrade and $5,000 to get the Z51 performance package. ChevyDude adorned the Corvette C8 with options that enhance the mid-engine sports car’s aesthetic and performance.

The C8 comes with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear trident tires ($2,695), bright-red brake calipers $595, and carbon flash racing stripes ($995) to match carbon flash-painted mirrors ($100), and high-wing spoiler ($1,150). The build was completed with an exposed carbon-fiber splitter, ground effects, and a $6,100 price tag, courtesy ACS Composites, an authorized GM affiliate.

This Corvette is a 3LT and comes with Alcantara on the exterior, carbon fiber trims, and a two-tone adrenalin inside. Competition 3 bucket seats ($500) and torch red seatbelts ($395) are must-haves. The magnetic ride control system ($1,895), and the front lift adjustable height with memories ($1,495) are also must-haves.

The car’s sticker price is $92,755; however, ACS Composites carbon fibre parts ($6,100) make the final price close to $99,000.
