Will KITT be reborn in Pontiac Firebird Trans Am as a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am version?

I was a kid in the ’90s. I was born in 1980, but I was still in the second half of the decade. This made it difficult to miss classic car movies and TV shows like Back to The Future and Miami Vice. It was good that I was able, as a child, to catch up with the time-traveling Delorean via VHS tapes.

It is, however, just like other TV shows, a rare copy of this show is available. It’s a pipe dream for me to relive the glory days of these shows as a car enthusiast who loves all things four-wheeled.

This is why I am more excited than anyone about this news. Knight Rider, starring Michael Knight and Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT), will be back – but in a remake.

According to , the acclaimed TV series will air on the silver screen. This is according to director James Wan and Spyglass Media Group. Variety reports that Wan and his Atomic Monster are working with Spyglass to produce the Knight Rider remake. His work includes movies such as Aquaman and Saw. Insidious and Conjuring are some of his most well-known films. Wan is no stranger to car movies. He directed the seventh installment in the Fast and Furious franchise.

The casting details for Knight Rider’s remake are still unknown. It is safe to assume that David Hasselhoff will not be playing the role of Michael Knight in this movie remake. Unless, of course it was a continuation of the TV series’ plot. This would be logical.

Now the question is: Will KITT be reborn as a talking missile-launching sailor? We’d bet that we would find out sooner than expected.
