Bruce Springsteen’s Jeep Super Bowl Ad Rejected Over DWI Dispute

He was allegedly required to drive all night even though he was intoxicated.

Jeep released a Super Bowl commercial on Sunday featuring Bruce Springsteen. It was the first Super Bowl commercial for the rock legend. The automaker had to explain the reason that part of Michigan was not included in the commercial. This did not cause any controversy.

However, that wasn’t the end. Jeep had to remove the video, or at least make it private, due to a controversy the singer was apparently in. Jeep can’t seem to explain why this happened.

According to reports, Springsteen was first reported by TMZ. He was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) on November 14, 2020. He was also charged with reckless driving, and consuming alcohol within a restricted area.

New York Post reported Springsteen’s arrest in Sandy Hook, New Jersey. According to a spokesperson from the National Park Service, According to the spokesperson, the Boss was cooperative during his arrest.

The TMZ report stated that Springsteen had not been arrested for DWI in the past and was scheduled to appear before federal courts within the next few weeks.

As previously mentioned, Jeep’s Super Bowl LV advertisement was placed in private at the time of writing. A Jeep spokesperson stated that it was inappropriate to discuss details of a matter they have only read about and therefore could not substantiate.
