Inbound improvements in appearance and handling

Both the Mercedes AMG 45 and 35 are capable vehicles. However, AMG has found a way that makes them even more powerful. German automaker AMG has created an aero package that gives the CLA vehicles greater downforce. The new aero components add sharpness to Mercedes’ already impressive Mercedes design.

AMG Aerodynamics Package comes with a new front splitter and rear aero vents. The kit also comes in a Plus version, which has a decently-sized rear wing. Although we don’t know the exact aero gains, they make both CLA models look great.

Mercedes claims that the rear wing “ensures an expressive look of a uncompromising racer” if you choose it. You can decide that. However, aerodynamic parts like this should make a difference on the road as well as at the track. Although it isn’t a complete DTM aero kit we expect that the wing and splitter will give the Benz a bit more grip on the asphalt. The package adds a lot of elegance to the CLA’s coupe-like form.

AMG Aerodynamics Packages are available at a price of $1,692 (EUR1,487), while AMG aerodynamics plus packages cost $3,113 (EUR2,737). We are not aware of any availability in the USA at the moment, but we would love to see it.
