Airstream is one of the most well-known names in the camping industry. In a sea of white campers the iconic aluminum travel trailers can be easily identified. 2021 will bring some improvements to two of the most beloved and durable models of the company, the Flying Cloud or International.

The Flying Cloud was first introduced in 1949. It was then reintroduced to its current form in 2009. Although the exterior is very similar to the original, 2021 will see a complete redesign of its interior. The camper’s standard arrangement is the Sunlit Maple theme. It’s also available in many floor plans.

The new Ultraleather upholstery is available in two colors: Seattle Mist and Carolina Clay. The camper’s surfaces are all updated. For example, the kitchen and bathroom faucets have a new square design. Cabinet hinges have soft-closed and overhead storage cabinets have been given a new finish.

Airstream’s core fleet is the International, which has been around for over 60 years. The biggest news is that the two previously available trim levels of International, the Serenity or Signature, have been combined into one International model. There are some notable changes inside, starting with a refreshed Coastal Cove interior theme.

Ultraleather has two new upholstery colors: Seashell is a gray shade and Aqua is a pale shade of blue. The International receives new hardware and fabrics, similar to the Flying Cloud. This includes the square sink design. In the International and Flying Cloud, blackout curtains are used in place of roller blinds.

The two trailers come in many sizes and layouts. The 2021 Flying Clouds start at $78,900 and the International at $91,900.
