GMC Hummer Electric EV Conceptualized As A Three-Row SUV

It will be a truck, in fact.

The Hummer name was to make its debut on May 20, but the coronavirus outbreak delayed it indefinitely. GMC has not yet announced a new date, but it says that it is working hard to develop the model and hopes it will be available before the end of the year. An independent designer has an interesting idea that we won’t see until the final product.

Although this is not the best rendering of Hummer we have seen, the concept behind it is much more important. This drawing is based on the new Chevrolet Tahoe. It has a Hummer-branded front fascia that adds extra off-road appeal.

GMC Hummer Electric EV Conceptualized As A Three-Row SUV'

GMC has confirmed that the revived Hummer will become a “truck”, which could refer to anything from an SUV-type vehicle to a pickup truck or something in between. The manufacturer teased the model earlier this year with a teaser video that suggested it would look like a traditional quad-cab pickup truck with four doors and a shorter bed.

The rendering shows the concept of a luxury SUV with three rows and seven seats. Although this isn’t something General Motors hasn’t created, it’s a possibility. However, the new Hummer will be powered by an all-electric motor. This rendering shows the innovation that the EV can seat seven people.
