Kia Soul Ad Ditches Dancing hamsters for car-eating Chameleon

The Soul is now more sophisticated, refined and mature, but the new ad still shows that it’s fun.

Kia released a commercial about the new soul. The infamous hamsters were not in the advertisement. A different type of creature is getting screen time.

We’ll get there in due time. Let’s start by taking a look at the Kia Soul lineup in full view in the ad. The TV ad features three brightly colored Souls, which you can view at will on Kia Motors America’s YouTube channel.

The Soul’s performance model is the GT-Line Turbo in bright red. It features a sporty-looking body, split five-spoke aluminum wheels and blacked-out trim. The Soul GT-Line Turbo’s 1.6-liter turbo engine produces 201 horsepower.

The next model is the X-Line green model. It’s designed to look like a rugged off-road vehicle. Although it doesn’t have the off-road capability to match its rugged looks, the X-Line model still looks as good as any small crossover.

The bright yellow EX Designer Line model is finally available. It has a styling style that’s more conservative and conservative than the GT-Line Turbo, or the X-Line. The new Kia Soul is not content to be a boring, featureless box. It’s poised to do many different things for many people.

The ad shows three Kia Souls driving in what appears to be an alien landscape with strangely-shaped and brightly-colored topography. Only when a large crater moves, do we realize that this is not a landscape. These Souls are riding on the backs of chameleons.

This is a fitting message given the Soul’s new direction. The Soul is ready to be anything you wish it to be.
