Rimac Opens New Croatian Headquarters, Complete with A Track

It is expected to be fully operational by 2023.

Mate Rimac was appointed CEO of the recently-founded Bugatti Rimac combined company. The automaker briefly stated that it was building a new headquarters for the company in Croatia when the announcement was made. However, they didn’t give many details. Rimac Automobili now has photos and information on its new home.

Rimac does not mention Bugatti in its entire press release. Instead, Rimac says it is currently working on its new headquarters and that it will be one of the most important European research and development and production centres. This should include the automotive industry as well. It is located in Zagreb, and will require an investment of approximately EUR200 million. This would be close to $227 at current exchange rates.

Rimac’s new massive home will not only serve as Rimac’s headquarters but also as a production hub and R&D center. This is in order to increase its output and become a large and more profitable automaker. Rimac will also be building battery systems for other manufacturers in the automotive industry. When it is completed, the new facility will be home to approximately 2,500 workers.

Rimac Campus will be carbon-neutral and built modularly, so to speak. According to the automaker from Croatia, due to its rapid growth rate, the new headquarters can be expanded without affecting the overall design or the natural environment.

The complex will include a test track and a rooftop garden. It also has a command center, VR rooms, a command centre, and several secret project rooms. The new campus will include a customization room where Rimac customers can play with their future cars. A museum and a bar are also included.

Mate Rimac, CEO, explains that “Ever since the founding of the company I believed in creating the best working environment possible.” It is easier to create great products if you are in the right environment. The Campus aims to create the ideal environment for creativity and work, not just for our employees. Customers, students, and all other members of the public are invited to come and mingle with our employees. We take great care to integrate our facility with the natural environment and be carbon neutral.
