This truck was in dire need of some TLC before it was sold.
These pickups aren’t the same bare-bones trucks that were used 30 years ago or 20 years ago. These pickups are packed with leathers and large digital screens. They also come at a price tag that would make an Mercedes blush. They’re built to do the job – to haul, tow and move. One such Ford F250 work truck was given a thorough cleaning before it went up for auction. It was in desperate need of it.
Although the video is short, it shows the awful condition in which Matthew Booth, the owner of Beepz Auto Detailing in Orillia (Ontario), Canada, received his truck. The truck was used by the owner to collect junk and garbage from various businesses, construction sites and recreational areas and then to scrape it. Booth was able to get the truck and its details. It was wanted to be clean before it went up for auction.
These results are stunning. Booth spent over 10 hours removing the stains. Booth used two to three treatment methods. It was a tedious task that required Booth to use hot water extraction on upholstery surfaces, clean the dashboard and door panels with a soft brush, steaming, and much more. Booth added UV protection conditioners to the rubber, vinyl, and plastics.
It’s comforting to know there is still life in even the most filthy cars. Professional detailing can often be necessary to remove deep-seated sun-damaged stains from upholstery. It’s also a pleasure to see the grime and dirt disappear, leaving behind the beautiful vinyl and plastic underneath all the years of hard work.
