This exhaust company is called Brilliant.
Enjoy the incredible sound quality of the Mercedes-Benz S600W140 from the ’90s by cranking up your speakers or earbuds. The luxury sedan is powered by a powerful 6.0-liter V12 engine. However, it’s quieter than most because wealthy buyers don’t want to hear it when they cruise along the Autobahn at high speeds. Brilliant, a Japanese exhaust company, rescues the engine and unleashes its inner demon. Brilliant, a Japanese exhaust company, has made your dream of an S-Class that sounds like a Pagani Zonda a reality.
The YouTube description states that the car has Brilliant’s headers, exhaust and makes the S600 scream. Amazingly, the video doesn’t show that the driver is exceeding the speed limit in order to make this loud sound. Even light acceleration can make the tailpipes growl.
Brilliant’s prices aren’t too high considering the amazing results. Although the company’s website doesn’t list the W140’s exhaust on it, it lists the W220 S600. Some of these have a naturally aspirated engine V12. The system is priced at 900,000 Japanese yen (or $81,70 at current exchange rates). It’s quite expensive, but it is still reasonable when compared to the cost of other parts for a flagship Mercedes sedan that’s 20 years old. It’s worth every yen to hear the engine play this song every day.
