BMW M3 Wagon Might Happen After All, But Not Anytime Soon
What does 2024 sound like, at the earliest?

BMW is set to unveil the new HTML3 sedan, and HTML4 coupe next month. It’s been a long-awaited M3 Touring wagon, but it will not be revealed. But that could change in the next few years. A report by BMWBlog states that the M3 Touring received the green light in Munich. However, nothing is confirmed. We’ll wait to see it in person, but we expect it to be a welcome addition.

BMWBlog According to BMW, the news of the approval came from a “trustworthy source” and that there is a possibility it is true. BMW has always been firm about its refusal to include the 3 Series wagon in the M brand. If this rumor is true, the M3 Touring won’t arrive in the US until 2023. This means that US customers will have to wait a while to purchase one, if ever it comes to fruition.

The M3 sedan continues to be developed, and spy photos taken over the last few days show that the cars are losing some camouflage. The 3.0-liter B58 inline-6 engine from BMW will produce over 500 horsepower (373 megawatts) in the top-tier models when it is revealed by the company in September. The Pure trim, which is less powerful than the other, sends power to the rear wheels via a manual gearbox.

Although we don’t know the exact design of an M3 Touring, there are some unofficial renderings. These two photos show the rear and give us a great view of the hatch and roof. The sporty lower bumper houses quad exhaust tips. The M3 Touring’s exterior design is similar to the regular M3 sedan. It features a big grille at the front. This is a rumor and BMW will not confirm it. We’ll be keeping our ears open for any new developments.
