These supercars are tuned to produce even more power than stock.
The race involves two vehicles racing at the same speed, then counting down and finally hitting the throttle. The first run against the plane is made by the convertible Huracan Evo droptop Huracan Evo.
The Huracan Evo Spyder’s 5.2-liter V10 produces 630 horsepower (470kilowatts) as well as 443 pound-feet (603 Newton-meters). The tune of this car increases the power output to 681 horsepower (508 kW). The supercar can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in stock form and reaches a top speed at 202 mph (325 KPH).
Although this is a great performance, it is not as good as the plane. The Lambo’s roof camera shows the supercar initially ahead of the aircraft, but then it easily passes it. This stunt looks even more impressive with the smokescreen that comes off the plane.
The 812 Superfast’s V12 6.5-liter engine produces 789 horsepower (588 kW) in stock form. However, this engine can be tuned to produce 900 horsepower (671 kW). This prodigious output doesn’t even come close to beating the stunt plane in a race.
