The Ferrari SF90 Stradale has been seen in action a few times. We know it is a powerful machine, especially when it comes down to drag racing. It can beat the Rimac Nevera, but we doubt that there is a production car that can. Performance is best measured on the track, not standing start races. The SF90 Stradale really shines on the track.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is America’s most famous track, and the Ferrari that was road legal has just set a new record. The supercar, a plug-in hybrid, was able to lap the circuit of 2.438 miles (3.925 kilometers) in just 1:59.625 minutes. It reached a top speed at 174.54 mph (280.9 km/h).

The Ferrari Racing Days saw the record being set by the SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano, a hybrid supercar that is more focused on track conditions. The standard model has a few race-inspired upgrades, such as carbon fiber exterior components and a titanium exhaust system.

Indy’s record car was equipped with optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R tires and a carbon fiber spoiler at its back, which provided an additional 860 pounds (390 kg) of downforce at speeds up to 155 mph (250 km/h). The Assetto Fiorano version weighs 66 lbs (30 kilograms) less than the standard SF90 Stradale.

The Prancing Horse’s most powerful horse should be able to reach a top speed of 211 miles (340 km/h). This means that it can go faster than the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, provided the road course permits it.
