2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Captured Cruising in a Winter Wonderland

Although it’s not the best environment for a Vanquish to be in, pre-production testing is never stopped.

Many people wouldn’t think of taking an Aston Martin vanquish out on the snow. However, not everyone has a car company that offers new models that can be tested in all weather conditions. We imagine that the Vanquish prototype will be quite the beast in white snow, even with the Pirelli snow tires. It must also be hilarious fun.

The 2019 Vanquish has been around for a while, and the matte-black finish with strategically placed dark coverings hasn’t changed. The DB11 front bumper is still a distinct difference. It has a more aggressive design. We suspect that there is more going on under the large amount of tape and covers covering the hood, which all are in a matching shade black.

Similar covers are found at the rear to hide what is almost certainly a narrow tail light that runs the length of decklid. Just like the new vantage. It’s impossible to miss the diffuser at the bottom with its quad exhaust tips pumping out some horsepower.

We know that the new Vanquish will be stunning, but what about the underside? Although a V12 is almost certain, the DB11 making 608 hp means that there is every reason to believe that this Vanquish could reach 700 hp.

The current consensus is that the Vanquish will be available for sale in the 2019 model year. Aston Martin may reveal the new grand tourer at March’s Geneva Motor Show. If that fails, the Frankfurt show is always available in September. The company could also follow the trend and have its own unveiling in grand style, rather than following the lead of the big shows. We expect to see it sometime this year.
