This sedan has sliding doors and an angular windshield. It doubles as a huge screen.
The coronavirus pandemic has canceled many auto shows this year. However, the Beijing Motor Show is one that survived. The event, originally scheduled for late April in China, is now in full swing and features many interesting cars. This Qoros Milestone is a striking sedan with avant-garde interior design and edgy styling.
There’s also the interior, which has a built-in Holograph that transforms the windshield into a huge display area. This can be controlled with a remote control that is detached from the steering wheel. Because the Milestone can be transformed into a spacious two-seater with the front seats folded back, it was designed to be fully autonomous. It is easy to get in and out of the vehicle because it doesn’t have any conventional B-pillars.
Although technical specifications of the engine remain a mystery, Chinese media claim that Qoros developed the concept to allow for a range-extending powertrain. This means that we are dealing with a purely electric vehicle with a small combustion engine to improve range.
