Hyundai just announced the creation of the New Horizons Studio. This new technological department will be focusing on the development and production of UMVs. Customers who wish to travel in unconventional and off-road terrain will be able to use these vehicles.John Suh (New Horizons Studio leader, and Hyundai Vice President) stated that “We aim to build the world’s premier transformer-class vehicle. Also known as the Ultimate Mobility Vehicle”. He has over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, including roles at Stanford University and Palo Alto Research Center. This makes him well-equipped for the future. Ernestine Fu joins the new division to become Director of Product Management.

It is not known much more, including how to control the complex machine. However, the concept presented at 2019 CES was an early version.
