Ferrari 812 with Full Carbon Fiber Body is a Rare Novitec Exclusive

This exposed carbon fiber weave is pure automotive nudity.

We waited patiently for the 812 “GTO”, but Ferrari surprised us with the Omolata, a unique creation that was based on the Superfast. Novitec’s tuners had an idea for a unique build. The standard and N-Largo widebody kits were already available for the V12-powered machine. But this new project is something entirely different.

Novitec dubbed the 812 Superfast a unique build. It received a carbon fiber body with exposed weave and a full carbon fibre body. It can be seen everywhere from the obvious places such as the doors and fenders to the small details like the door handles or the cap on the center lock wheels. Everything, from the front splitter to large rear wings, has been coated in carbon fiber.

The NLargo 812 Superfast that is parked right next to it cost about EUR150,000, but the price of the unique creation was almost twice as high. This is a very expensive aftermarket package that costs almost EUR300,000. Novitec does not go into detail about the naked 812 but it does state that it required 700 more hours to make than a regular NLargo.

It is hard to believe how much weight the tuner was capable of shedding after completing the carbon fiber treatment. The regular 812 Superfast is about 3,594 pounds (1.630 kg), which is impressive considering the V12’s 6.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. We expect Ferrari’s hardcore 812 will reduce some fat, but not in the same way as Novitec’s all-carbon Superfast.

Many automakers don’t offer performance cars that are carbon-fiber-coated straight from the factory. Examples include the Ford GT Liquid Carbon, and the Pagani Huayra. A carbon fiber body was also available for the McLaren P1, as well as the track-only Porsche 935 and the Koenigsegg Jesko.
