What is the Encore’s sales performance? The Buick’s smallest crossover, and also the best-selling vehicle in America, generated 24,606 sales during the first quarter. This is 3.38% less than Q1 2018. Although demand dropped to 24,291 units in Q2, it was enough to see a 4.85% increase in sales compared to Q2 2018.

The Encore, also known in Europe as the Opel Mokka X is going to be spawned the GX version at 2020. It will slot between the regular model (which costs $23,200) and the larger Envision. It is unknown how much it will cost but it is likely to be between the $23,200 Encore price and the $31,995 Envision. As the latest information suggests, there won’t be any large engines. However, there may be a few three-cylinder units that can produce up to 155 horsepower through the front axle via an automatic CVT.

The Encore GX will be available for purchase closer to the market launch.
