The Nissan Titan hopes to acquire a Ford F-150-Raptor-fighter. Based on discussions with , Tiago Castro, Nissan’s Director for North American Light Commercial Vehicle said that the rugged truck was “absolutely” being considered.
He told CarBuzz that there was an opportunity to do more than Pro4X. He said, however, that Pro4X is his main focus at the moment. This suggests that the meaner model won’t be coming too soon.
There aren’t any details on what Nissan plans to do with the Titan. The Raptor would have you add more power, fit a more capable suspension and install drivetrain components to give the pickup more traction off the road.
The Rocky Ridge package is currently the most mean Titan. The Rocky Ridge package increases the ride height by six inches, and adds nitrogen-charged shocks to the rear. It also comes with 20-inch wheels and Mickey Thompson tires 35-inch in size. The package includes skid plates and body-cross members.
The 2020 Nissan Titan costs $36,190 before the $1,595 delivery fee. The Titan XD is $44,580. The Titan XD Platinum Reserve, a crew cab body and a four-wheel drive powertrain costs $61,690. The 5.6-liter V8 produces 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts), and 413 pound feet (560 Newton-meters), through a nine speed automatic gearbox. The new trucks can be seen in showrooms right now.
