Two states will be the first to roll out the new lease program.
The pandemic of coronavirus has had a profound impact on how people manage their money, particularly with non-essential items. Audi has launched a new method to lease its vehicles. The Audi reLease program, which is short-term vehicle leasing, takes out long-term commitments.
We have been hearing from customers loudly that there is a gap between car ownership and vehicle usage. Anthony Bandmann, President and CEO of Audi Financial Services, stated that traditional lease terms and finance terms don’t meet the needs for flexible access to vehicles, whether it’s due to COVID-19 concerns, cultural shifts toward moving jobs and geographical locations more often, or other life changes.
The Audi reLease program includes pre-owned 2018 Audi Q3, Q3, or Q5 vehicles. These vehicles are subject to availability. The terms of lease can be as short as 6 months or as long as 18 months. Audi stated that every vehicle will be subject to a thorough inspection by a participating Audi dealer before it is picked-up. This helps ensure Audi’s high standards.
Audi offers roadside assistance and scheduled maintenance, despite the fact that the lease is short. This will only be offered at participating dealerships.
Audi has not yet disclosed pricing details. However, interested customers can review program details and available vehicles and see fixed, transparent pricing via AudireLease.com and the Audi reLease mobile application on iOS and Android.
Audi will be launching the reLease Program for Maryland and Washington D.C. Residents who are eligible with pickup at any participating Maryland Audi dealerships (Audi Bethesda Frederick, Audi Rockville, and Audi Frederick).
