PR is something Batman must do.
Imagine you are driving down the road when you see a police car with lights flashing behind the Batmobile. What did Batman do? According to the CBC Radio, nothing. The video of Brampton Batman being stopped by police was shared online over the past few days. There were many jokes about the incident. It seems that Batman, actually Stephen Lawrence, did nothing wrong.
The video shows Batman leaping from the Batmobile with his cape flapping behind him. The officer speaks to him and he is back in the Batmobile within seconds. The video’s creator even commented on Batman being let off by the officer with what appears to have been a warning.
Lawrence claims that Lawrence was wrong to say this. Lawrence stated that the officer pulled Lawrence over to take a photo after an earlier interaction. Lawrence is well aware of the impact the Batmobile’s appearance has on the public. Drivers are eager to take pictures and videos, sometimes in dangerous ways.
He stated that he tried to avoid it because it was illegal and unsafe.
He had earlier flagged the officer down and asked her to stop people taking photos. Lawrence saw flashing lights behind Lawrence and the officer agreed. This is when you can see him leap out of the Batmobile. He asked the officer to take a photograph and asked if everything was okay.
Batman did not run a red light, nor was he caught speeding to stop the Joker. It was an officer looking for a photo opportunity. Batman doesn’t always flag you down and asks you for assistance keeping other drivers safe.
Lawrence stated that he would advise fellow drivers to “enjoy the sight and sound of but not with your cellphones,” CBC Radio.
