This is to help you imagine a huge Volvo luxury barge.
All of us know that the all new Volvo XC100 will be coming – atleast according to Volvo dealers, who reported this rumor to Automotive News earlier this year. The Volvo crossover SUV model will be the flagship model and the luxobarge will appear in 2023.
These renderings are not to be taken as literal. These are not official and represent Goldwasser’s vision for the upcoming XC100. They’re very similar to the current Volvo styling but look more like a concept than a production vehicle.
The XC100 has many things you need to be aware of. Initial reports suggested that the XC100 would be a three-row crossover similar to the Volvo XC90. However, a later rumor indicates that the XC100 will only be available as a four-seat, two-row luxury vehicle with an all wheel drivetrain.
The Recharge monicker will also be attached to the full-electric XC100. Volvo uses Recharge to identify zero-emissions models such as the 249-mile XC40 Recharge, which debuted last year.
Volvo has yet to confirm the XC100. However, the rumored flagship model will arrive in 2023 for the model year 2024. In the years ahead, we will learn more about it, especially if Volvo adopts Goldwasser’s renderings. It’s not surprising that the Geely-owned Scandinavian automaker will not do so.
