Romeo Ferraris pushes Alfa Romeo Brera supercharged with 98 HP more

Romeo Ferraris, an Italian racing team and tuner, has teamed up with Autodelta, a British tuning company for Alfa Romeos. This partnership will give them one more push on their superchargers and styling kits for Alfa Romeo Brera.

Italian tuner/racing group Romeo Ferraris has partnered up with British Alfa Romeo tuning company Autodelta to provide one final push on their superchargers and styling kits for Alfa Romeo Brera, which was shut down in November 2010. Autodelta developed all components, including superchargers, while Romeo Ferraris is the authorized distributor for Italy.

Although the power output of the 3.2 liter V6 unit is slightly lower than the standard 260 PS/ 191kW, the centrifugal Supercharger Kit by Autodelta increases torque by 120 Nm (89lb-ft), to 440Nm (325lb-ft). The supercharger kit comprises the intercooler, compressor, and special piping. It also includes a new exhaust system that includes a 200-cell catalytic converter.

This results in a sprint of 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds, compared to 6.5 seconds for the standard Brera. The top speed is increased to 260 km/h (162mph).

Autodelta has also redesigned the body aero kit. The new kit includes a front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper fascia.

New shocks and springs for height adjustable suspension kits have been added.
