Straight-Piped BMW M5 720-HP BMW M5 Sounds Good Like A Tractor

It is almost too loud.

This modified F10 BMW M5 is a worthy contender if there’s a point at which something is too loud. This is not your typical BMW performance sedan. There are many modifications that can be made to improve its sound quality and performance. When you think about it, the two go hand in hand.

The video details show that the BMW M5 has 720 horsepower. It is not clear how it can produce such power. We envision some upgraded hardware and a tune that will remap the parameters of the biturbocharged, 4.4-liter V8 engine. The owner added straight-pipe exhaust to the sedan and removed the catalytic convertors. This is bad for the environment, but good for wakening neighbors at 3 AM.

You will see the M5 revving its engine as it waits for it to drag race down a runway. It is up against the current-generation Ford Mustang, and an unremarkable Audi. It is difficult to discern any information about the Audi from the video. The M5 is just as fast and agile as its competitors.

According to the video description, the modified M5 reached speeds of 160.67 miles an hour (258.57 km per hour) in drag racing. This is a great speed and quite impressive. This is a remarkable feat when you consider that they are racing over 0.62 miles (1,200 meters). You’ll also notice that this is not your usual drag race where you wait for the tree turn green. The races start at 31 mph (50 km/h), which is quite a change from the usual drag race format.

The M5 modified sounds more like a muscle car rather than a German luxury sedan. That’s fine. The M5 definitely has the performance. The subdued bark coming from the rear of the M5 was not appreciated by the owner, which we find to be quite soothing.
