Challenger Combo Offers Motorhome Living Space In A Compact Package

Combining the best of both.

In the world of motorhomes bigger is better. This is true if you need more space. But, it’s not hard to see that these massive vehicles can be cumbersome to drive. The sheer size of these rigs can make it difficult to maneuver, which can discourage novice drivers from taking up the adventure lifestyle off-the-grid.

This is what motorhome companies understand, and so we have the new breed of recreational vehicles. They combine the mobility of a camper van with the living area of a motorhome. The Challenger Combo X150 is a recent example.

The Combo X150 is smaller than the two-person Volkswagen Caddy California and fits perfectly into the camper van category. It measures 599cm (236in) in length. The Combo X150 is a Fiat Ducato-based Winnebago .

Despite its compact dimensions, Combo X150 offers a wider floor plan than other camper vans. The smart lounge can be converted into passenger seats, which can carry up to five people safely and comfortably. The Combo’s roofline is cleverly hidden within two separate beds that can accommodate up to four people at night.

The living area also features a full-width, full-length bathroom with a shower, and a mirror cabinet. The entire cabin can accommodate a 134-liter refrigerator. The package also includes a leisure battery and 100-liter fresh-water tanks. It also comes with a 4,000-watt diesel heater and a 10-liter water boiler.

Challenger didn’t disclose pricing on its website. However, several reports suggest that the Combo X150 starts at 60,000 Euros or $73,000 with current exchange rates.
