A tribute to the last Mercedes V8s made by the German tuner.
The AMG C63S’s twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 engine is no slouch. It produces 510 horsepower (380kilowatts) as well as 516 pound-feet (706 Newton-meters), which are both impressive numbers for a five-seater with plenty of cargo space.
Manhart did not stop there. The CR 700 Wagon gets aftermarket turbo performance kits, turbocharger upgrades and carbon air intake. ECU remapping is also done. The final output is 712 horsepower (531 kW) with 679 lbft (920 Nm), of pulling power. These numbers can be accelerated by tweaks to the AMG Speedshift MCT9-speed transmission to allow the Manhart CR 700 sprint from 62 to 124 miles per hour (100 to 200 kilometers per hour) in just 5.5 seconds.
Visually, the Manhart CR 700 features the tuner’s usual gold-on-black design theme. The stripes are used to enhance the styling. To reflect the design, Concave One wheels in stain black come with gold pinstripes on the rims.
Manhart coil springs allow infinitely adjustable tuning of the suspension. The brakes are stock as the company did not upgrade them. Interior upgrades are also available, but Manhart stated that they can be ordered individually.
Although Manhart did not disclose the price of this rocket wagon, it is safe to assume that Wuppertal will charge a premium. Click on the source link to contact Manhart for any inquiries.
