Yes, we do know you know which one is the fastest. We think that drag racing is still exciting. But it shouldn’t make it less fun. And, what’s most important, it should help us answer a very simple question. What is the difference between a sports car and a supercar?
The 888MF YouTube channel took an Alfa Romeo 4C and Ferrari 488 Pista to compare acceleration. The Ferrari has a 3.9-liter V8 that produces 710 horsepower (529kilowatts), while the McLaren uses a 3.8-liter V8 to produce 592 hp (405 kW), while the Alfa has a 1.75 liter inline four with 280 horsepower (209 kW). It doesn’t sound fair, does it?
As we said, this drag was designed to show the difference between a supercar or a sports car. We are going to reveal the winner , but the results are clear. However, the 4C did a great job considering it was so much less powerful than its supercar rivals.
The sight of the two-seater Italian car in action brought tears to our eyes. It is clear that the automaker has decided to cease production. Technically, you can still buy a new 4C, but only if your dealer has enough examples. This is roughly 20 models in France. Alfa’s agile runabout will cease to be available once the dealer stock runs out.
