Unofficial redesign of the off-road truck.
Do you recall the Dodge Magnum? This was the Charger-based wagon that appeared in the golden age of the new millennium, before the carefree attitude of 1990s America overtook it. It’s back…sort of. It’s not. A new video by TheSketchMonkey YouTube channels takes the rugged 2000 Ram 1500 TRX, and turns it into a long-roofed low-riding wagon that can be used to pick up groceries and kids in one trip.
The TRX is a huge vehicle that can eat up vast stretches of wilderness. Its 702-horsepower V8 (523-watt) engine has enough gas to get it there. TheSketchMonkey quickly gets to work on the truck’s redesign, including lowering it and removing its desired ride height. The transformation of the pickup’s off-road-oriented pickup to a wagon was not easy.
The wagon’s striking face, the TRX truck’s surprising fierce one, fits well on it. Although it is a little too big with its large scoop and bulges, it blends well with the wagon’s overall styling. It is difficult to completely remove the TRX’s design details. TheSketchMonkey observed his struggles to fit the modified greenhouse onto the truck and also his difficulties in getting the proportions right. Trucks’ greenhouses are often taller than those of sedans or wagons, which have often raked windshields.

The TRX wagon is one of many TheSketchMonkey renderings. His truck transformation took the F-150 boxy Ford and made it a sleek, stately sedan. Similar to the Dodge Ramcharger rendering, the TRX wagon render is identical to the Dodge Ramcharger rendering. This was the one that made the boxy two-door SUV a modern-day model.
