2021 Audi RS3 LMS Introduces Entry-Level Race Car With Up to 340 HP

Deliveries to customers will begin later in the year.

The first generation Audi RS3 LMS has been retired after being delivered to customers in 180 units. The official debut of the 2021 RS3 LMS is made with numerous mechanical and tech upgrades. Sales will begin in the second half of the year.

The new RS3 LMS has a radical difference from its predecessor, and follows the lead of the latest generation.

In terms of design. The Audi Sport livery is used to finish the pilot car. It features a large radiator grille, centrally mounted exhaust pipe at back and a massive fixed rear wing. It looks much more harmonious than it did before, despite its extravagant design.

This engine is an evolution of EA888 and can produce 340 horsepower (250kW) at 6,250 RPM and 332 pound-feet (342 Newton-meters), of torque at 2,500 RPM. The six-speed sequential racing transmission is a completely new version. It channels power to the front axle. This axle has a multi-plate limited slip differential with adjustable preloading.

Audi is proud of its safety achievements. Audi claims that no other TCR touring vehicle offers as many optional safety features as the RS3 LMS. They include a roll cage constructed of steel tubes, a six point safety belt, strong race bucket seats, and a fire extinguishing device. Seat-wrapping safety nets are also available on the left and right.

Significant changes have also been made to the suspension by the automaker. For example, the McPherson front axle has a new design that allows for quicker changes in the kinematics. To achieve bump steer effects, the rear axle with four links uses standard track rods.
