Start at $79,900 prior to the federal tax credit
Karma has introduced the new GS-6 series. It teaches an old dog new tricks. The Revero model is cheaper than the original Fisker Karma, which was designed by Henrik Fisker. Two models make up the GS-6: the standard GS-6, and the GSe-6.
Although the cars may look very similar, there is a lot more to the story. The GSe-6 is now equipped with an all-electric motor, making it the first zero-emission vehicle in the company’s history. The vehicle will be available for purchase by the end this year. There are a variety of battery options, ranging from 85 kWh to 105kWh. Two electric motors will power the rear axle. We don’t have power or range figures, but we do know that the car will be priced at $79,900, before the federal tax credit.
The range-extension GS-6, which is not fully electric, is more expensive than the GS-5. It costs $83,900 and uses a BMW 1.5-liter engine to generate power. A 28-kWh battery packs provides up to 80 miles (129 km) of pure electric range on a single charge. The powertrain’s combined range is 360 miles (528km).
InsideEVs points out that the new GS-6 line of GS-6 is significantly cheaper than the Karma Revero. The Revero GT Luxury, which is the entry-level model, starts at $130,000. While the Revero GT Luxury, which is currently on sale for $144 800, costs $130,000. The Revero GT Sports is the most expensive at $152,800.
Two new models will launch globally, and the range-extender model will be the first (except in China). The EV model will be available in the People’s Republic before the GS-6 is released. The GS-6 series will be available in the US, China, Mexico, Spain, Mexico and Colombia starting this year.
Karma CEO Lance Zhou comments, “Our brand promise has always been to offer high-end luxury vehicles, technologies that are driven innovation, and inspire our drivers with new and unmatched offerings.” We believe that luxury electric vehicles will revolutionize mobility as we look into the future.
