The industry’s first lithium-ion battery allows for accessory use without needing to be plugged into.
Storyteller Overland, LLC, an Alabama-based Class A RV manufacturer and outdoor lifestyle gear maker, has officially launched the Mode 4×4 adventure van series. It aims to revolutionize motorhome segments.
Storyteller Overland cites tall vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter or the Ford Transit to illustrate the new Mode 4×4 campervans. She describes them as “a passionate labor-of-love combined with years spent focused market research and product design geared towards improving the lives of everyday driver, weekend warrior and long-range travel enthusiast in the rapidly expanding Class B RV and adventure van markets.”
What does that mean? The Mode 4×4 camper vans have many new features for motorhome owners.
The most innovative feature of the Mode 4×4 was its 9kw LiveFree OTG energy system, which was created with Volta Power Systems. The lithium-ion battery is able to provide sustainable energy even when it’s not connected to the grid. It does this without any need for additional power generators. It can also run low-profile air conditioning at night without needing to be plugged into or run at high idle.
The Mode 4×4’s innovative Halo retractable shower can be used indoors or outdoors. The FlexSpace is a multipurpose bench that can be converted into a convenient concealed shower drain, storage area or tailgating cooler. The Dreamweaver folds into a Murphy bed and the GrooveLounge has a tri-fold seat/bed with a three-point harness.
The Storyteller Overland website has more information on the Mode 4×4 campervans. The Mode 4×4 camper vans are covered by a 12-month, 22,000-mile warranty. This warranty can be extended depending upon the dealer.
