A tuning company promises a variety of performance improvements.
Hennessey Performance quietly announced plans for a new tuning program to the 2017 Acura NX.
Although the company has not revealed any details, it hinted that it would offer a variety of performance options, including an upgraded twin-turbo engine. Customers can also purchase stainless steel sports exhaust systems, lightweight alloy wheels, and upgraded interior coolers.
The availability of the accessories is unknown. However, the standard NSX features a 3.5-liter biturbo-V6 engine and three electric motors that allow it to produce a maximum output of 573 horsepower. The supercar can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just three seconds and then reach a maximum speed of 191 miles per hour. The model’s impressive performance is offset by its eco-friendly nature. It returns 20 mpg city/22 mpg highway/21 mpg combined.
The Acura NSX 2017 starts at $156,000. You can add a variety of expensive accessories, including a carbon fibre body kit, which includes a carbon-fiber front spoiler, carbon-fiber side skirts, and carbon fiber rear diffuser.
