You can expect a debut in 2023 and 2024.
The next-generation Mercedes EClass will be on display. It was first seen by our spy photographers in December. New spy photos reveal Mercedes continues to develop the car as it positions itself to compete with the future BMW 5 Series as well as other luxury sedans in the market. The car was captured by our photographers in Stuttgart, Germany.
The concealing camouflage wrap is still used on the car. It is also covered with cladding underneath. The car isn’t significantly different from the Mercedes-Benz refresh. For the model year 2021, this was rolled out. The next-generation E-Class will retain the basic shape of the current car, although the styling may be different. However, it seems like Mercedes is making evolutionary design modifications.
The grille looks familiar. The lower bumper seems busier. However, that could just be due to the camouflage or cladding. The hood appears to have new creases. The rear is completely hidden, with just a small amount of taillights visible. The vehicle will be equipped with new taillights, a lower bumper and other styling improvements.
The interior should be a significant improvement on the current model. The interior of the next-gen E-Class should be compatible with those from the C-Class, S-Class. Mercedes should have the latest infotainment screens, and technologies. Although it is too early to provide powertrain information, it should be available with a range of engine options. Mercedes introduced the all electric EQE variant.
We don’t expect the next-generation Mercedes E-Class to be revealed until 2023 or 2024. Mercedes has always surprised us. Mercedes gave the E-Class a strong refresh in 2021. However, the changing auto industry doesn’t allow automakers much time to rest between new vehicle launches.
