Citroen SpaceTourer As Eye-Catching Camper: The Citroenist Concept Makes Its First Publication

You even get a custom-made bike.

The Citroen SpaceTourer – Although the name is not very appealing, it’s a great idea for a small motorhome made by the French manufacturer. On September 28, the tiny camper will debut at Le Bourget’s Leisure Vehicle Motor Show.

The Citroenist Concept has an attractive exterior design. It features a section in white with the upper part in black and a complex black-and–white pattern. The two sections are separated by a Martone Red stripe. All three colors are included in the wheels.

Interiors use a similar color scheme, with a mixture of light gray, black and red upholstery on the dashboard and seats. The cabin trim also features elements from the black-speckled exterior. The cabin has enough space to sleep two and also features a pop-up roof that can be opened up to expand the headroom. There is a storage space on the floor that can be used to store a bike. A multimedia cabinet provides entertainment with a desk and a TV screen.

This concept uses SpaceTourer’s regular powertrain. BlueHDi 150 S&S BVM6 turbodiesel 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is used in this concept. It runs through an all-wheel drive system.

The Citroenist Concept is a small sibling to the Peugeot Boxer 4X4 Concept, which will also be debuting at the Leisure Vehicle Motor Show. The larger van offers more amenities than the SpaceTourer such as a kitchenette or bathroom. Both vehicles can be used to go camping in the wild thanks to their all-wheel drive systems that allow for gentle off-roading. However, it is not clear if either one of these vans will be made.
